Everybody knows that the #1 thing on Singaporeans' list of favorite things to do is MAKAN.

MAKAN = EAT.

And the #1 crustacean we love is crab, with our national dish being CHILI CRAB.

Every year a renowned dumpling place would combine my two favorite things to eat into one. Chili Crab Xiao Long Bao🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀

According to folk history, secret messages were placed in mooncakes to coordinate the Han Chinese revolt against Mongol rule on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.
