Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day

This movie makes me feel good. From the beautiful set and costumes to the actors to the music. Ah, the music brought forth sentimentalism for a time gone by. A glamorous time on the verge of war. Perhaps why it makes the discovery of life and love so much more piognant.

Frances McDormand gave a stellar performance. At once strong and vulnerable. A perfect foil for Amy Adams. Both actors doing justice to Winifred Watson's book. Watch this movie and share my longing for a more beautiful time long past.
